the flag-bearer job is realli cheapo labour.. its some int'l event where 40 countries' reps will come n it involves the ministry of defence etc.. email says one session around 2-3 hours n each session $10.. but yest n tdy both lasted for 4 hrs!! n no increase in pay.. @#$%.. den stay there for so long cos the stupid organizer n the choreographer had differences in opinions n we need to keep changing the format.. stupid man

yest reached there den waited for 1/2 hr b4 the thing started.. i tout i was late n rushed like siao.. -__-.. somemore the place is almost at the other end of expo from the mrt.. so the person assigned according to the namelist.. i got the indonesian flag.. after tat they want 1 guy 1 girl alternate so i got changed to france.. den go collect flag lor.. dun have mine cos the france flag haven arrived!! sian lar everybody got their flag except mi.. den i juz took the remaining flags.. south africa.. den after tat its waste time waiting for the choreographer to c which position looks nicer etc.. kept changing his mind.. after tat trial finished liao den the stupid organizer came n hiam this hiam tat n almost the whole thing changed.. i wonder if he got so mani ideas of his own den wat for he ask the choreographer to do.. waste our time.. n its v tiring holding the flag n walking around leh.. imagine walking nth times from outside the door to inside the hall n walking up on stage n walk one round the hall den muz stand n wait for the minister to make his speech etc.. n he asked us to hold the flag with hands at arm level 90 deg den muz walk smart etc.. when finally reached the last part liao den he say the heights not nice.. want mountain shape where the tallest stand in the middle.. so its rearranging again n this time i got qatar flag.. by the time they say we can go its 10pm oredi.. siao.. n some ppl were asking for a pay raise cos its too low n some even went to buy khaki pants cos initially the person says need to wear khakis.. i wonder wats wrong with them lor.. if i dun have i rather dun take the job.. spend $40+ when u oni earn $60..

den tdy its rehearse again lor.. made us stay back until 2pm without lunch.. n theres a reception lunch outside for the officials.. so cruel of them.. dun let us eat n still put the food there to tempt us.. den again the organizer changed the format like how we shld stand n when we shld lower our flags etc.. v stupid.. at first say when he call the country's name den we will walk up stage n pause in the centre briefly den walk down.. after tat say no time n we juz walk to centre n dun pause.. after tat change back again.. stupid lor.. waste our time walking here n there when they cant make up their minds.. n the stupid shoes is vvvv painful.. the person-in-charge went to tell the organizer we want to increase the pay but the organizer like refusing n stuff like tat.. if they want cheap n smart labour den they shld ask their nsmen to hold the flags wat.. sure do smarter than us n mayb its free oso..

so after 2 days of "exercise" my body is aching n tmr have to go at 8am when the thing starts at 9.55!! when i came home in the polo tee they gave mi (cos everybody have to look uniformly dressed) my mum asked mi wats tat.. told her i doing part time for a few days.. she said wah oni a few days n they give u polo tee.. 赚到了.. -___-"".. ya rite their polo tee is v hard to 赚.. hopefully tmr the person-in-charge can bargain n increase our pay.. he was saying he will try to get us lunch money for tdy but no guarantee.. -___-""
