phone discoveries
after using the new phone for 2 days, i found something stupid abt the phone (as always, cheap stuffs r nvr gd). firstly, if the headset is attached, all the sounds n alerts will route to the headset. which means even if u want the alert to ring it oso wont ring, which is v stupid cos i may want to use the headset for calls but at the same time i want to b notified of incoming messages/calls etc. n it cannot change to other profiles oso. =__=. the easiest walkaround is not to use the headset at all, but den it means dirtying the screen with my oil n oso kena radiation when receiving calls. n there is no button on the headset to press for accepting calls. zzz.
secondly, if i press a number key long enough, by rite the number shld appear on the sms. but this one nvr appear. have to manually change the alphabet to number. n if i press the number long enough for speeddial, it doesnt dial immediately. it only dials when i release the button. -___-
lastly there is oni one pathetic game. sudoku. -__-. not sure if there is oni one puzzle for each level. haven realli play it yet. other than these stupid discoveries the phone is pretty ok. at least its nice to look at n i hardly use it at work. haha

white obsession
yest i bought a pair of white shoes n a white lg kg288 phone. duno y, but seems all the things look nicer in white than other colors. things like bag clothes shoes.. mayb except shorts n pants. initially tout of buying a black one cos white later easily dirty, but they only sell the white version, so its kind of fated. aniway white looks nicer oso.
got color display, fm radio, polyphonic tones, java, no camera. screen big enough to read multiple lines of sms. phone quite thin n gd-looking too. too bad no data cable/bluetooth, cannot transfer my own pics for wallpaper. n somemore its more exp than my 3g nokia phone. but its considered cheap for a phone without contract. wat to do, job requires it. at least must carry a nice looking phone to work so it wont feel such a big diff from carrying a 3g phone.

2nd day
today is a slow n boring day. dozed off a few times after lunch. zzz.. i think a few big shots saw me sleeping? -__-. so hard to stay awake while reading
ate lunch with a few proj mates. no dilly dally, eat liao den ciao. gd! i like! haa. the ex-lunch group always like to sit there n toke rubbish even though everybody finished eating. canteen so noisy n cant even hear wat they r toking. not tat i want to hear aniway. with them i can feel my butt growing 0.1 mm per second, n after lunch my butt would have grown by at least 12cm.
bumped into a few ex-colleagues during lunch. so funny, last wk just quit then today see them again. haha. prob will b seeing them quite a lot in future.

1st day @ work
my 1st day at work din start off on a gd note. the stupid bus was so crowded tat i oni focused on squeezing my way out of the bus b4 the door closed n den i forgot to tap the ezlink when i alight. @$%@^@! n den i got honked at incessantly by a bangalah cyclist who thinks he owns the pedestrian walkway. another @$@%@%! den i reached the co early, saw a lot of newcomers too. waited for almost 20 mins b4 the hr came with our passes. zzzzzzz. my pass looked so ugly. -__-got free jacket, free mug, free t-shirt. not so bad. but one guy commented if everybody use the same mug den how we going to differentiate? hmm... aniway i got "forced" to make a mthly contribution to some charity. i tout the hr said it was optional so i din fill in the form last time. but today the hr passed me the form again in front of the others n said i forgot to give her the form. wat the... tulan. duno how to reject or tell her it shld b optional rite so i dun want to contribute. later ppl think i v niao. but who can guarantee the money is realli going to the real beneficiaries or some other ppl's pockets?got a lot of newcomers in my dept. im the only one with work exp. the rest all fresh grads. zzz. suddenly feel young again like fresh grad. haha. dun have my cube yet cos havent finished with the admin stuffs, so temporarily sitting at a very dusty n dirty table. heng its not a perm one. i so shocked when i saw it. tout they "bully" new staffs by giving them the lousier cubes. but i saw the cube which i will b sitting nxt time n its not v nice oso. sian. miss my old co cube. so big n spacious n clean. T.Tread docs for most of the time. not bad, time passed quite fast. a bit sian but at least the proj looked kind of interesting. too bad msn kena blocked. T.T. no more crapping in office...

last day
yest was my last day at the co, n it was a realli low-key farewell, cos a lot of ppl went out for a seminar -__-. gd aniway, save the trouble of saying bb. n the guy wasnt around as well. best. din even bother to inform me. my fren accompanied me for lunch n gave me a "symbolic" farewell, haha. at least not so lonely.finished doing the clearance quite fast, den started bidding ppl byebye. saw the guy return from the seminar n toking to the managers, so i quickly went to his cube area n bid other ppl byebye. hopefully can dun toke to him. haha. too bad havent finished yet n den he came back -__-. well im v magnanimous so we just shook hands n he wished me all the best. i thanked him for helping to take over my shit, he say no it shld b him thanking me for taking over his shit, n it was nice working with me. duno if its just 客道话. haha. aniway it did make me feel a bit better.its funni how i oni started chatting with some of them on my last day. mayb i realli shld put in more effort to toke to them, but well... will put in more effort for my new co. hopefully. haha. hard to change a leopard's spotsthe hr asked me to bring a photo on mon for her to scan for my self-intro n den she will return it to me. i wonder wat is she going to do with the photo. print out many mas selamat posters n paste in the office to announce the mth's new hires? hahaha

不希罕
tmr marks my last day with my current company, a grand total of 2.6 yrs. n yet nobody bother to organise a farewell lunch for me. WTF. to think i spent so much treating other ex-colleagues, some even involving treats at the city area for buffets, while the rest involve treating other 闲杂人 cos they combine farewells for a few ppl when i oni meant to treat one of them. either my ren yuan is not gd or the guy is simply bochup to organise one. n since he's the oni one in my team, if he dun bother i doubt the rest will, since most of them duno when i leaving oso. another gal in another team oni leaving nxt mth n her team lead oredi sent out the farewell invitation. n still the guy nvr do anithing. @$@%@%. well he did pop by to check how i was doing. on the positive side its to check whether im having ani difficulties in doing my work (YA i still got work to do). on the negative side its just to make sure i clear as much as possible so tat i dun transfer more shit to him. ironically, its the other guy from another team who bothers to come n ask me abt my last day n my new job. the moral of the story is nvr to work in a small team, or to leave as early as possible when ur co is having signs of trouble. dun wait until everybody left n ppl too sian to spend money on another farewellwell at least now i can leave w/o any longing for the co, haha. hopefully the new colleagues will b easy to get along with. if they dun jio me for lunch on the first day den its realli jiak sai liao. n hope the new co will b gd enough so tat i dun end up missing my old co n regretting my decision to quit, haha.

i survived
the week finally "passed". i survived the 3 days of "managing" the team.. haha. duno if its pure bad luck or the guy has been bearing the burden all along, but i kena a lot of arrows in these 3 days when he was not around. n since i duno a lot of things, it oni shows the manager tat he was rite in promoting the guy n letting him lead the team rather than me, who can barely do things without consulting him. but watever. dun realli have the motivation to 摸清 the project's 的底. duno if im just plain lazy or i have the innate dislike for low level stuffs, but just the sight of the watever registers, bytes, memory n shit is enough to send me to sleep. hate doing the calculation, argh.despite leaving nxt wk, i still got a pay raise for this mth, hurhur. n it's rather sian to c an unexpected % of raise. which means i jumped to the new co with a lower raise -__-. heng i got the new offer, otherwise with the old offer, the raise is realli not worth the jump. haiz. shld b happy tat i still got a few wks of higher pay? n probably the encashed leave will earn me more $$ oso, heh heh. when my manager passed me the pay slip he told me it's my new pay raise n den he added "aiya doesnt matter lah". -__-. duno wat to say.aniway, one more wk to go. hopefully ppl dun start finding me for solutions after the 3 "high-profile" days. n hopefully everything goes well for my new job. need more motivation to learn new things!! $__$

bad day
today is not a gd day, n tmr looks like a even lousier day. not oni have to complete my stuffs by nxt fri (which i just started last wk n there r tons of complicated rubbish which i have no idea of), i still have to cover the backside of another colleague who went happily for holiday tonite. n "just nice" there's an urgent issue which the whole mgmt is jumping abt (management again.. oni noe how to kick up a big fuss) n i have to finish it up for him. AND the gal went on long leave, so i'm the oni one in the team for this wk. how great.i think making the decision to leave is the correct one, esp when even the boss say he duno whether the team will still be around after 6 mths. more n more ppl leaving, yet more n more work coming in. the oni thing i duno is correct or not is the new co. bumped into my jc fren today n turned out she oso worked at the new co last time. she said the salary increment not v gd. -_____-. sian ji pua.hopefully this wk pass fast fast without any more shit coming in
