do u noe how irritating it is when ppl approach u with issues when it's almost time to go home? today i was free the whole day, until the tester suddenly asked me 15 mins b4 going home if i wanted to test my code with the new system. apparently the rest had finally coded the stuffs which my module needed. i said ok, den as expected, bugs appeared. n it was not bcos of my code, but bcos someone told me the wrong implementation. nvm, change my code. but den my pc kena hogged by some ppl for testing, so i borrowed another colleague's pc to change code.. but den.. kns. spent sometime trying to get the damn thing to work on her pc, n when 1 hr has passed, i got fed up n wanted to go home liao. who cares if tonight is the code freeze date.. n juz when i was about to go, another colleague suddenly waylaid me n ask me if i had put the necessary stuffs into the harddisk for burning. duno wat's wrong with all these ppl.. got the whole day to ask dun ask, muz wait till i pack my bag n about to leave den they waylay me n ask me qns. wat if i said no? they expect me to power up the pc n do for them? idiots

a few days ago the pm suddenly called for a meeting, 30 mins after knock-off time, n oni informed us 30 mins b4. ji dan, take us for granted tat we will definitely stay n work ot. n den he rattled off some work schedule, blahblahblah, expecting us to b on site for support this weekend. the rest who nvr kena will go back office to code n test. nvr ask us if we r free or not, juz plan the schedule n expect us to follow. wtf.. at least the dpm is nicer. he said if my stuffs r finished den i can go home earlier. as the days go by, my impression of the pm is going down the drain. try to smoke the mgmt, take us for granted, bombard us with lots of work.. during this week's mgmt meeting, he mentioned abt my bugs n said "regarding the bugs which she is focused on doing last week...". i almost wanted to roll my eyes until they drop out. focused ge pi. he duno assign how mani things outside my scope, n now tat i finish my work in time, it's as if his credit for letting me focus on my work. i think the nickname watanabe suits him juz fine. not bcos he's like a japanese, expecting us to work bull work horse, but bcos he's wat-a-nabe. i tout i was prejudiced against him, so i asked my colleagues if they r starting to b fed up whenever they hear him toke, n they said yes. so apparently i'm not the oni one who cant stand him, it's juz tat i'm the oni one who show him chao bin whenever he toke to me.. watanabe

2 mths later i will kena the 24/7 on-site support, n this morning the pm told me i kena the night shift. how great.. previously i was told i was on day shift, den the colleagues were saying how they usually won't put gals on nite shift, how they will give me day shift cos i got family blahblahblah. i was thinking they so gd meh? as if they realli take my marital status into consideration. n now? all the gals r on night shift, n i oso got changed to night shift, just bcos my other counterpart say she taking the day shift. kns. 1 week of upside down bio clock, duno how to recover from it. somemore i'm an early sleeper.. haiz. shitty period nowadays

the other day during status meeting, the mgmt say i shld focus on doing my stuffs this week cos it's rather impt. but end up i still spent a day doing boliao things for the project. luckily i'm a rather efficient person, heh heh. but of cos muz hide my status from them so tat i won't kena more stuffs. den the pm wanted to go through a whole list of tasks n find out wats the effort estimation for each of them. i cant b bothered to go thru each n every one of them (esp when it's oredi after working hrs), so i juz told him everything done in 3 days. he n the dpm tio shocked.. hahaha. asked me if i realli can finish all, if cannot dun force myself. tats the prob with these ppl. give them a short time frame, they ask me dun force myself. but if i give them a long time frame, they will ask me to do faster. realli hard to please them. aniway even the 3 days oso considered long, cos i oredi finished all the tasks. muahaha. so actually i still gained 3 slacking days, provided no more sai kang these few days

this afternoon i was listening to jeff chang's 爱如潮水, n when i heard the chorus, i almost wanted to laugh. all thanks to my bro for posting the youtube video in facebook. -_-

today the users came down to view my module, n they made lots of comments, like color too bright, font too small, blahblahblah. the most "interesting" comment is how they deemed one feature not important, or rather not needed at all. this was not wat they said in the last meeting. in fact, at the last meeting, when i told them i wont b doing this feature due to time constraints, they die die insist this feature is vvvv impt, if not the most impt of all. so end up we push back the deadline for this. n den wat? now they say not impt. fickle minded users

the other day ah ma asked me if the new guy is realli tat bad, cos i made him sound as if he dun have any virtue at all. after he asked me this, i tried treating the new guy nicer, but, as always, it's v hard to change one's opinion overnight. n recently it's worsening. he started to duno pick his nose or peel his lip skin, look at it, den flick it away. MANY TIMES. i duno which action he is doing cos i din turn over to look at it. at least i got the decency not to stare at him, unlike him. whenever someone comes over to ask me something n i check something on my pc, he will STARE at my pc screen. i swear if one day i can't take it anymore i will look at him n say "wat the fuck r u staring at?". dun he noe it's damn rude to keep staring at wat other ppl r doing?

the pig blogged abt her minefield, meaning wat thing will make her v angry. for me, depending on the person, it can b a minefield. i hate ppl borrowing my things n den treating it as their own. if u borrow something, at least u have the decency to return when the owner needs it, or treat the thing with care. i treat it as i loan my cube n internet to the new guy out of goodwill, but he treat it as if it's his. now it's even worse. if he wants to use the internet, he will move my chair away, when i'm sitting on it. how rude can it get? n the other day, he juz press the ESC key v hard a few times to disable the screensaver, when i'm sitting near the pc, which means his arm actually crossed my body to touch the keyboard. NB.. it's MY keyboard, u dun anihow press the key so hard. n when i go toilet for a while, u can sit on my chair, but when i come back, pls return me my chair n dun pretend i dun exist n carry on sitting. if i can i feel like giving u a tight slap. shitty ppl in the office.. @$#$^%#

today after we eaten lunch, the cleaner came to collect our plates, n den she said "wah both of u eat until so clean, i c liao oso v happy.. realli leh, save us a lot of work. both of u realli gd ah, v rare". lol.. den hb say "cos we poor mah". -__-'''. my colleagues all along have been saying i eat until v clean, so my hb's face muz b v smooth. hahaha. even den i was still quite surprised to b "praised" by the cleaner

these few days the pm nvr disturb us for status updates, suddenly feel quite relaxed. was idling the whole afternoon, until i itchy hand decided to retest my system again.. den holy shit! found some bugs. zzz.. so have to hurry up n fix it cos tmr going to release for official testing liao. but i din manage to fix it in time.. so by right i shld ot to fix it.. but den.. wat the heck. bochup liao. doubt they will b able to release it tmr oso.. so mayb tmr morning continue.. hehe. as always, their deadlines r always behind time one. kena cheated mani times until i sian oredi. aniway the tester oso nvr found the bug.. so mayb heng heng can scrap thru the test, n wait until the test is over den fix it
