last wk was a torturous week. had to work nite shift for one week, after which have to go to tanjung batu to attend wedding. zzz. the wedding was more torturing than working nite shift for one week, cos it's smelly noisy dirty itchy n hot. smelly cos their ppl smoke like free, practically lighting up continuously once they finished one cigarette. n they smoke in front of u even in air-con places. damn smelly..
noisy cos their way of entertaining their guests is in the form of ppl singing karaoke. not oni have singers singing, but their guests will also go on stage to sing, n ppl will go up to give them ang baos depending on their singing or relationships wif the ppl. n their songs r all from my father's age.. teng li jun.. li mao shan.. zzz. so practically the whole dinner is sit there n kena tortured by their singing
den dirty is cos there r lots of houseflies flying around.. our hotel was poorly maintained.. den the guests eat peanuts can throw the shells on the floor, open drink cans den put on the floor.. toilets oso dirty like hell. basically there's no flush system.. they flush the toilet using water pails. n there's no toilet paper oso.. *puke*. n they oni give us one bowl n utensils for the whole dinner, so by the time the dinner end, the spoon n bowl r full of orh nee, shark fin's soup, steamed fish gravy, curry chicken etc etc. so dotz. somemore their orh nee serve in the middle of the course.. when we saw it we thought tats the end of the dinner liao.. who noes after tat still got chicken n sea cucumber! walao. by then the spoon oredi become v disgusting liao. we have to clean the spoons ourselves in the bowl of water "thoughtfully" provided by the hotel.. -__-
hot is cos the hotel's aircon doesnt seem to b working, n yet the windows r almost all closed.. though there r giant fans but they dun realli help much. somemore i'm sitting rite in front of one fan so it's blasting air into my face the whole nite n drying my eyes out. -__-. even the outside air is cooler than the hotel..
during the last nite the hotel got power trip, so the aircon stopped working for almost one hr. hb go n opened the window for some fresh air, n end up all the mosquitoes flew in. -__-. we tout there shld b no mosquitoes since we r staying near the sea.. but turned out we were wrong. kena bitten until cant sleep.. come back n counted 9 mosquitoes bites. *sob*.
so the conclusion is nvr to go back again! so glad to b back home
