tdy's a longg day.. spent my entire day in the west.. morn went jurong east to watch initial d.. wah the bus journey took 1 hr 45 min! by rite shld b meeting my fren 45 min b4 the movie to eat lunch.. but i ended up 45 min late n reached juz in time for the movie.. hehe.. forgot tat the bus journey to sch alone takes 1.5 hr.. heng my fren nvr pull long face n even help mi to smuggle a burger in.. if i were her i think i wld b cursing all the way liao.. borrowed a drama series from her titled engine.. got takuya kimura! *drool*

yest got tricked by my 2 cousins.. the mastermind is 叛徒 cousin aka master of all pigs whom i kept in touch wif via msn.. the accomplice is meet-once-a-yr-during-cny cousin.. so for some reason the pig cousin popped over to cny cousin's house n logged into her msn.. den cny cousin toke to mi n asked mi to guess who she is.. not without giving confusing hints n making mi 团团转..

firstly the pig cousin say i got a "fan" who wants to toke to mi.. found it weird but tout she juz toking rubbish.. hehe..

went back a few min later n asked to c the interviewer.. den the woman saw mi n said "oh so u r looking for someone.. say so lah.. say u want to use toilet.. our toilet is not public toilet u noe.. so u went downstairs? blahblahblah..".. -__-"

waited for quite some time den the interviewer came out.. not bad quite friendly.. all qn pretty straightforward.. unlike the prev interview at tat IT compani where the stupid interviewer tried to b nice but "unwittingly" tekaned mi wif all those qn.. mayb cos this is a temp job so he din realli go into details n asked to c my results etc.. at least he nvr conduct the interview in jap cos he dunno how to speak.. haa

after the usual qn den he briefed mi on wat the job scope is etc.. customer service dealing wif customers in japan.. not technical troubleshooting but more of helping them renew licenses n how to use website etc.. but need to reply emails in jap.. sounds pretty ok.. training provided oso.. n at least he noe i got jlpt 4 which is realli the most basic one so i dun think he will b expecting much..

after tat waited for another woman who noes jap to come in.. spoke to mi in jap.. -__-".. juz told her my jap not gd.. she said its ok.. juz translate 2 jap emails for her.. but the first one i dunno.. 2nd one i juz roughly translate.. den she smile smile n said ok den the whole interview over! pretty fast.. oni 30 min.. at least its better than the prev interview.. but dunno will get the job or not... c how it goes

after tat went to do a trial on the tests.. pretty much like the tian cai gogogo except simpler lah.. the screen will flash 4 letters in caps v fast.. either all the same or all different.. have to memorize them den it will flash a small letter n if its one of the letters den press 1.. otherwise press 2.. den if 2 letters appear oni den have to shift them one alphabet forward n do the same.. this one more diff cos i kept mixing up the sequence of pqr..

after trial liao den went to do scan.. v stupid.. have to do tests while scanning.. den have to wear hair net wear ear plugs n dunno insert wat headpiece on my face.. den theres this thing inserted into the mouth.. look so stupid.. den with tat thing inside my mouth i cant speak v clearly.. yet the woman kept asking mi if its ok blahblahblah.. sian x 5.. kept reminding mi to keep my head v still n try my best at the tests etc.. v lor so.. den while doing the tests the machine kept making those toot toot sounds.. v noisy.. basically im inside those "spaceship" thing lor..

tats still not so bad.. the worst thing is i have to do 7 or 8 repetitions of those tests.. den after 1 test the woman will ask mi to rate how alert i am.. if im ok.. den again those reminders.. sian x 6.. after tat finally finished liao she say have to stay in there n do a 20 min scan! sian x 7 x 8.. she say i can take a nap or listen to the radio.. got earphone to communicate wif her outside so can hear the radio.. prob is the stupid machine make those toot toot sounds so loud tat i cant hear the radio n cant sleep oso.. so i juz stoned there for 20 min.. sian x 9

den finished liao! lie down for so long.. sit up liao a bit groggy.. den still haven finish wor.. need to go down n do a survey on how alert i am etc.. sian x 10... finished liao den do another test! mensa style.. sian x 11.. look at 8 diagrams n guess wats the 9th diagram according to the pattern.. finished liao den one guy gave mi one pda n asked mi to do some reaction test on it.. press a button whenever a square appear.. need to do 5 repetitions.. sian x 12.. each repetition 2 mins.. den after tat do finished liao called him.. he said need to do the 6th repetition.. this time 10 mins! *faintz*..

finally finished liao n the woman reappeared.. gave mi one obiang watch n ask mi to wear for one wk n cannot take off.. sian x 13.. den again those reminders to sleep b4 1 am blahblahblah.. she so young yet so lor so.. den finally i rcved my cash n can go home! v cheapskate.. do for so long n pay so little..

den on the bus the guy from the recruitment company called mi.. said im selected for interview wif symantec n asked if i can go down today! sian x 14.. where got time? so rushed.. told him to fix it on tmr afternoon.. after tat he called again n said its fixed.. so im going down for interview tmr.. sian x 15.. I HATE INTERVIEWS.. n i dunno wat position im going for.. the guy got say b4 the position requires jap.. sian x 16.. mayb i shld start practising how to say my jap not v gd in jap.. sumimasen.. nihongo ga jyoozu ja arimasen.. eigo de hanashite mo ii desu ka..

tdy's the last day of work.. v soon it will b back to the rot-at-home lifestyle.. tout tdy will b as "peaceful" as the prev sessions but end up the last session was more problematic..

firstly theres oni 2 of us in charge.. i wonder how im going to invigilate n escort those ppl who wants to go toilet at the same time when the guy goes for his break.. so i held the door open n use my eyes to "escort" them to the toilet while keeping my eyes on the candidates oso.. prob is they can hear the ppl walking outside n the lift opening etc.. later den i realised the guy simply let the ppl go to the toilet themselves while he sit in the room.. -__-

secondly i announced the time wrongly.. vvv malu.. by rite still left 1 hr but i sotong n announced they have 30 min left.. so they huh huh n say it shld b 1 hr.. den i say sorry shld b 1 hr left lor.. at this pt the guy came back from his break n heard mi.. suay.. >.<>.<>

went down to the recruitment company for an "interview".. not realli an interview cos its juz filling in forms n some job-matching oni.. after i filled in the form the guy spoke to mi in jap! he intro himself n said onegai shimasu.. i was stunned so i din said anithing.. muz b pretty rude i think.. haa.. den later he continued speaking in jap.. siao lor i think he intending to "interview" mi all the way using jap.. i doubt jlpt 3 got the standard to toke all the way in jap.. or im juz too lousy.. so i juz told him using broken jap tat i oni can speak a bit of jap.. he got my pt n spoke in eng.. but i think i can understand y he chose to speak in jap.. cos his spoken eng quite poor.. heh

den he said he got a few jobs on hand n asked mi if i int in this job int in tat job.. actually all i not v int but i juz say give it a try lor.. got one job he described liao den say its sheet work n asked mi if i can do sheet work.. i tout it requires some expertise so i asked him wat is sheet work.. "sheet work means u sometimes work in the morning n sometimes work at nite.." OH he means SHIFT WORK.. -__-".. told him i want normal working hours one.. mayb i came across as a bit too picky.. heh.. dun want shift work dun want customer service..

told him i not v gd in IT.. den he said i studied 4 yrs so my comp skills shldnt b tat bad.. general misconception by ppl lor.. dunno y they dun believe.. aniway the IT jobs he intro he said dun need to b v gd in IT.. so c how lor.. he will send my resumes to the companies n if got replies den he will inform mi.. but still need to go for interviews.. hate interviews man..

tdy rcved a call from another "nameless" company asking mi to go down for an interview TODAY.. siao.. even if i free tdy i oso say i not free.. where got time to prepare?? worse still he nvr say wat position i applied for.. so he asked mi to go down on mon morn.. muz bring passport-sized photo somemore.. sian.. came back n checked my email den i realised its a recruitment company which i have registered wif.. CHEY.. i tout some company looked thru my resume n called mi up.. on closer look at the company i realised they filed mi under japanese division! siao liao i oni put my jap standard as basic n they file mi there.. -__-"

nxt time these HR shld keep repeating their company's name so tat it will get drilled in.. like "this is xx calling from XXX.. u have applied for position YY in XXX.. would u be free to come down to XXX this fri?".. like tat at least when u missed out the name once u still can hear it a few times..

aniway i realised lots of things tdy..

1. the ice kachang at starhub center sux.. the ice is sweet n yummy but the red beans taste horrible! a bit of bitter n left a horrible aftertaste.. luckily the woman din put a lot n the ice was cold enuff to numb my tongue.. n it was more filling than the piece of bread which i bought last week at abt the same price.. heng i nvr order red bean soup..

2. some guys juz like to call the shots.. even though its their first time invigilating at the centre.. one guy initially told mi to collect the number tags.. later changed his mind n told mi to collect from the right side.. n later told mi again to collect the answer scripts first den the qn papers so tat it wont b so messy.. hello?? first-timer telling an "old bird" wat to do.. i not saying i old hor.. n despite the instructions given to collect the answer scripts when the ppl leave early, this guy say put at the table so tat its easier to collect in sequence later.. *shrugs*

3. a string of "no" is more powerful than one simple "dun wan".. one guy tried to sabo mi by asking mi to announce the time left.. of cos i said "dun wan".. den he say "its v simple... juz say u have 15 min left..".. not tat i mind.. but given a choice of cos i dun want.. so i juz said "nononononono".. the guys laff n den the first-timer announced the time..

den later at the interchange.. despite my not looking at his eyes n lowering my head n walking in the other direction, the surveyor ran after mi n asked mi to do a survey.. i said "dun wan" n he persisted.. saying tat the survey v short n oni need to ans 4 qns blahblahblah.. so i said "不要不要不要不要不要" n quickly walked off n the guy couldnt do anithing.. haha..

these ppl v thick-skinned n alwayz bluff one.. last time one guy juz stopped mi n my fren n said he not promoting anithing.. juz testing the market to c the response blahblahblah.. asked lots of rubbish den later said "oh btw we now having a promotion now.. we sell this at XXX in the shops but now we selling at XX blahblahblah.." n my silly fren bought from him.. -__-"

4. wat u c in the mirror is not wat u expect in the photos.. n the photo shop downstairs have digital instant photo! made a fool of myself there.. the person asked mi to comb my hair.. so i looked in the mirror n tidied up.. den i told him i want color photos.. he said now all photos color one.. -__-".. i long time nvr take passport pics liao mah.. so he took my pic twice.. n i was expecting him to issue mi a receipt asking mi to collect 2 days later when he inserted the SD card into the machine.. cool man.. den my 2 pics appeared on the comp.. wah piang! so fugly.. i tout i look ok in the mirror.. he asked mi which one i want.. both equally fugly so i chose the brighter one.. den he proceeded to clear away all my pimples.. cool man.. until he spent like one min clearing away all the pimples.. i din noe my face was tat bad.. -__-.. asked him to shun bian erase away the few strands of stray hair oso.. den tada! print out the photos.. collect on the spot.. asked him how much is it.. think he nvr heard mi so he nvr reply.. so i passed him $4 n expected my change.. he looked at mi n said "七块".. SIAO! $7 for 6 pics n pimples clearing.. heart pain.. n malu oso.. he muz b thinking "u siao ar give mi $4 n expect mi to edit ur photos for u.."

5. the passport photo look v fake.. i complained tat the pics look v ugly n my sis said she want to take a look.. so i gave her n she oni took a look den she said "eh got edit one ar?".. T.T.. even she blur sotong oso can tell the difference.. my face realli CMI.. the recruitment company better find mi a job.. or else i would have wasted money giving them my beri ex photo..

tdy's nt a bad day.. got 2 lobangs "drop from the sky".. one is the invigilator thingy.. the person called n asked mi if i can replace someone else this fri cos tat person cant make it.. yeah can earn one more session's $$.. ^-^

the nxt one is for a sleep study.. get paid to sleep early n do brain scan.. nt bad rite.. can do free brain scan n im an early sleeper aniway.. but a bit scared of wat they going to do.. apparently i have to camp overnite at the place for one nite n get deprived of sleep.. but its oni 2 sessions so shld b pretty easy i hope.. for the sake of $$.. sigh.. too bad my fren nvr rcved ani calls from them.. otherwise wld have company for the camp-over

btw i wonder wats wrong wif the ppl who do the phone-calls.. they tend to speak v fast n juz sort of "slur" over their company's names.. mayb they trying to save their company some money for the phone bills.. everytime i rcve calls from them i cant hear wat their company is.. luckily tdy's calls r not interviews.. for those interview calls they juz 噼里啪啦 n i either cant hear their company's name or wat position i applied for.. muz b cos they call too mani ppl so need to save time.. but imagine u juz pick up the phone n they ask for u den they immediately start toking v fast.. makes ppl v blur

this morn i saw a $1 digicam advert in digital life.. too gd to b true! so i asked mi sis if she wants to go down n take a look.. she said "yeah can go out.. v sian.. but aiyah i supposed to study maths tdy..".. on closer look at the advert i realised the $1 offer is oni available after u buy a thousand-plus projector.. -__-".. so yeah we not going out after all.. she can study her maths liao.. but now she so engrossed in doing quizzes tat i think she totally forgot wat she supposed to do tdy.. haha

i wanna complain abt my mum.. she v idiot.. i juz did my part-time last fri.. den tdy she nagged at mi saying if i got go job agencies to look for jobs.. whole day rot at home like tat.. WTH?! i got work ok.. say as if i rotting at home everyday like tat.. i bet if i juz came back from my part-time this morn she will oso say i rot at home everyday.. its real hard to please her.. she oni focuses on wat she sees now n not wat have happened.. initially i work everyday for 1 wk den i rest for one day she oso say i rot everyday at home.. -__-""

while most ppl's childhoods were spent on watching cartoons and playing games, i cant recall wat i did during my childhood.. definitely not watching cartoons n playing games cos i have no idea wat carebears n he-man are n i cant play zero-point n five-stones n watever games they played.. mayb my childhood was spent on doing homework and going to libraries and learning piano.. im a nerd thru n thru.. haha

kindergarten:
cant remember wat i did during kindergarten except tat i topped my class almost every yr n i went for malay dancing classes (dun ask mi y im in.. i've no idea myself).. shows tat the phrase 小时了了，大未必佳 is quite true..

got my first barbie doll during tat time i guess.. still remember i was reading books in a shop similar to mph (yeah im a nerd) when my parents suddenly stuffed a barbie doll box to mi.. nice surprise.. with refrigerator somemore! but i din had a sister tat time so i often had to pester my bro to play wif mi.. needless to say he refused.. so i offered to give him my "prized collection" of stamps to him in exchange for one barbie doll game.. then one day my mum asked us if we wanted a little bro or sis.. needless to say i said i wanted a sis n he wanted a bro.. n out popped my sis.. but sometimes i kind of regret n complain to my mum tat she shld have given birth to a son cos shes too untidy n lazy etc (my sis lah.. not my mum) n she will say "who ask u to ask for a sis..".. haiz

den there's one occasion when my mum was feeding the bottle to my sis n my sis was sweating profusely.. so the ever-so-nice mi took a cardboard n fanned her vigorously.. but i got too close n "piak!" the cardboard hit her head.. haha.. n of cos she cried v loudly n i quickly scurried to my room n hid for fear of getting scolded.. luckily i din.. lol

primary sch:
as usual i cant remember much.. pri 1 n 2 i was my teacher's pet n i was pretty gd at art.. so gd tat my teacher automatically gave mi A*s for all my art without looking thru.. n i din do some of the pieces.. heh.. a lot of my art pieces went on exhibition somemore! but the stupid malay teacher in pri 5 killed my interest in art n my art skills mysteriously disappeared after tat.. den other ppl spent their recess playing n eating.. i spent my recess reading storybooks (yes.. again).. n i dunno it was so well-known until one day when my curious teacher asked the whole class wat i usually do during recess n the whole class chorused "read storybooks!".. -__-".. mayb she tout i was too quiet in class n was concerned whether i got on well wif my other classmates or not..

so my pri sch yrs were spent on nancy drew, enid blyton n gnomes n elves.. oh of cos got barbie dolls oso.. played wif my fren who lived nxt block.. too bad we got some misunderstanding due to watever reasons which i forgot n we din contact each other after tat

joined ensemble n i was the main player due to my piano background.. the stupid teacher in charge like to tap ppl on the head wif her fingernails.. den theres a cute senior who sometimes played the organ beside mi.. hee.. wrote diaries n exchanged wif my best frens.. but the sneaky mi wrote general stuffs for them to c n the more secretive stuffs were written in another diary.. heh

sec sch:
this one i had more memories.. still as nerd as ever.. sat at the front row of the class n got the pupil of the term during sec 2.. wkends were spent on girls' brigade doing meaningless marching n bible studies.. despite all those marching exercises i still got lots of fats accumulated.. >.<.. wkdays were spent on travelling to amk sec for higher chinese classes n travelling to my piano teacher's home for lessons.. boring life.. n cos amk sec is so far.. everybody eligible to take hcl dropped n i was the sole survivor for my yr.. (its so freaky! juz when im typing this out my father came in n stressed tat we shld carry on studying chinese blahblahblah cos its now 中国人的天下 n how hard it was for mi to study hcl at tat time..)

den tat time we played badminton n did gymnastics for pe.. everybody seems to b so capable tat they can do everything.. i partnered my fren for badminton n we had to hit the shuttlecock over the string which is like 2m high.. she will hit it over n i will miss.. den since i dunno how to hit i juz simply threw it over, she hit it back, n i will pick it up again.. den gymnastics.. sigh.. its real malu.. other ppl cleared the stunts in one shot while i have to b singled out by the teacher n repeat n repeat until the bell rang

during biology lab our teacher gave us frogs to dissect cos she tout its a rare experience.. prob is we were the first class to do the dissection n the frogs were merely knocked out n not dead.. so when the frogs reached the lab they were still alive n kicking.. pretty harrowing exp but we still went on aniway.. the more brutle ones even skinned the frog n dug out all their intestines.. yucks

jc:
jc life was a bit more happening but still not as happening as some.. hanged out at parkway wif the gals n took lots of neoprints.. there was once when we went parkway n was late for chem lab.. yet they still coolly strolled into the lab like nthing happened..

n jc was the time when we went for fun chalets n played lots of boliao games.. n it was oso the time when i learnt how to cycle.. cos my fren said she will make sure i noe how to cycle.. den one guy heard n was shocked tat i din noe how to cycle.. he asked if i got ani childhood or not.. so tat prompted mi to 发奋图强 n learn cycling juz to get back at him.. yeah i learnt how to cycle but i nvr got the chance to prove to him

it was oso the time when i got to b the matchmaker cos my gd fren was liked by mani in the class.. one asked mi to give a savage garden cd to her.. the other asked mi wat she liked n help him sound her out.. but she got angry when he passed her a love letter later.. its a tough job getting caught in between 2 ppl

this morn my father came into my room wif my monthly allowance n asked cheekily if i still want my allowance.. since he noe i grad liao i where got face to take?? mayb tats y i nvr told him i grad.. haa.. so i juz act macho n said "dun need lor".. to my surprise he juz said "oh ok" den left.. T.T.. i was expecting the usual pushing to n fro in those drama.. "nvrm lor take lah".. "dun want lah".. "take lah.." "ok lor" n den i will take it wif a reluctant look but actually feeling v happi inside.. too bad the scenario din materialize.. *sob*.. so im now poorer by $X liao.. n i still haven rcved my pay for the expo job!! so inefficient.. oredi like 2 1/2 wks liao

its time to start queueing up at ATMs to withdraw $$.. *sob*

sometimes i realli wonder whether the candidates r deaf, doubting we have the authority, cant b bothered to listen to us or juz plain forgetful.. b4 every exam we will say put ur bags in front.. no hps allowed.. switch off ur hps n put in bags etc.. yet someone still put her bag beside her.. n when i was walking past a desk i suddenly heard a vibration.. one stupid guy not oni had his hp on his table.. it was on n vibrating.. so? i confiscated it on the spot.. muahaha it feels gd to have the authority.. pity i cant keep the hp for my personal use.. heh.. after the exam i returned the hp to the guy n he said he was using the hp to look at the time cos he cant c the clock on the wall at the side n how the clock shld b placed in front.. ya rite now den u say.. got 3 hrs for u to speak up n u dun want..

n tdy's candidates r more "special".. one woman placed a mini bear on her table.. her "吉祥物"? another guy wore ear plugs.. -__-".. i tout he was wearing hearing aids.. den one other guy complained tat the outside was too noisy.. -___-"".. so bobian i have to go out n told 2 noisy guys to keep the noise down.. they immediately apologized n went off.. again i feel the power of authority.. haha

btw centerpoint is realli pathetic.. dun even have a foodcourt.. tout of exploring centerpoint's foodcourt during break but cant even find one! issit i cant find or there isnt ani? tout all shopping centres will have one.. wasted like 20 min walking around.. realli nthing much to c over there

something malu happened during the invigilation session.. they asked mi if i wanted to take a break n i refused cos i dun feel like taking a tea break.. so 2 of them went to take a break first lor.. minutes later my stomach started rumbling n i think they heard it.. -__-"".. wat to do.. juz act like nthing happened lor.. den bobian have to go find something to eat after they came back.. wasted money buying a piece of fattening and non-filling bread which oni made mi hungrier.. after tat went centerpoint for a walk.. met a veteran tcs actor! the one who acted as 林湘萍's father in 镜中人.. but den nthing much lor.. juz like ani ordinary person.. he was shopping wif his family

on my way back to the room i met another guy whos in the same room as mi.. waited for the lift n heard a "ding!" sound but i looked to the right n din c ani lift open (there r 6 lifts at the lobby).. den i heard a "这边！这边！" sound n i tout wheres the sound coming from.. turned out the guy was on my left n was telling mi the lift was open.. -__-""

during the 3 hrs paper the guys occasionally chatted wif each other by writing on paper.. later when some of them went out for break i went over to peek at the paper.. they were "toking" something abt wat NIE diploma or degree got cute gals etc.. -__-".. nice ice-breaker topics for guys huh

yest met up wif my uni buds for dinner at suntec.. think we haven seen each other ever since the exams ended.. one of them juz rcved her salary n treated us to western food at a** carta restaurant (forgot the name liao).. v generous of her cos even though it was oni the 3 of us i think the money she spent is enuff to last mi around 20 meals of hawker food :P.. initially i was worrying for my pocket cos my father juz realised tat i grad (i lazy to tell him mah) n tat implies i wont b getting ani more allowance i think.. :(

ordered fish n chips n upsized the meal wif mushroom soup n peach tea plus free bread.. they ordered grilled chicken n chicken steak i think.. all v yummy but i think i overate.. haa.. worrying abt my weight again liao.. luckily later will b going for my 3 hrs invigilating aka paid-for-walking-exercise..

so its the usual updating each other of our lives over meals when the topic of our singlehood popped up.. i think im the "luckier" one whose mum oni use her mouth to nag n not shove pics of guys to mi.. n i still got a few cousins who r unattached.. hehe.. think we will b the future swinging singles wif careers who doesnt care a hoot abt being unattached.. 女人我最大！ haha im juz rambling here

after tat walked around n checked out a few sales den went home.. they were discussing where the busstops were n which bus to take home.. mi being the 路痴 of cos opted for the MRT option.. but after all those discussion they still went home by MRT aniway.. haa.. think the nxt time we get to meet will b during the july grad ceremony..
