last day

tdy early morn went to my boss office.. think he saw the letter in my hand n knew wat i wanted to say liao.. told him i want to resign..

boss: haiz got to restart all over again.. y u want to quit?
mi: my fren intro mi to a job tat is nearer n more in line wif wat i want..
b: wats the job?
mi: embedded software engineer..
b: so u more into technical jobs? actually i tout during interview i oredi told u quite clearly abt this job.. tat time u seem so enthu tats y i employ u..
mi: actually i wanted to give it a try one.. but realised im nt realli suitable for this job (actually its bcos tat time too eager to pls so din realli think abt the job scope)
b: so u r not tat cust svc-oriented?
mi: as in nt into interacting wif customers.. sometimes feel tat nt able to help.. den sometimes they need soln urgently n everybody quite busy nobody to ask.. den they will request to speak to more exp ppl
b: but tats part n parcel of the job.. ur mentor nvr help?
mi: she got ans my qns but most of the time shes v busy den hard to ask
b: but as long as she got ans den this shldnt suffice as a reason to quit.. actually i saw tat coming tats y i ask u hows the job etc.. din expect it to realli come true.. now muz restart all over again
mi: sorry abt wasting ur time
b: at least we noe we tried our best in letting u feel settled.. so u think our dept got ani flaws?
mi: nt exactly flaws.. but sometimes the dept a bit underhanded den not mani ppl.. if everybody is busy den cant find ppl to ans qn
b: u mean understaffed? ok.. guess i dun hold u up den

after i left the room den i realised i actually said underhanded when i meant understaffed.. dotz.. c my boss so disappointed n i felt like a sinner..

den during lunch told colleague i quitting.. she shocked.. but when she heard the pay is 1k higher she asked if the co is hiring support staff.. haa.. den asked mi abt the job etc etc.. oso asked mi if my frens found jobs etc etc.. when i asked her if she got salary raise after probation n she said no.. heng for mi man

afternoon met wif the hr manager.. tout she want to say mi or wat.. but turned out she juz want to tell mi to pay for the leave i took.. said so u finally found a job u liked? actually i think she knew long ago i not int in this job.. cos during 2nd interview when she asked mi wat job i looking for she said if im into prog den its hard to switch jobs after coming in.. tat time despo for job so everything oso say its ok wif mi.. she asked mi where im working.. den said actually i can quit tdy n dun need to wait until wed.. no pt working one extra day.. heng i got plastic bag n i oni need to bring back my jacket n bottle man.. suddenly tdy last day like tat den nvr bring ani bag.. den she said shes happi tat im working in a mnc.. duno if its sarcasm or not.. but later she smiled so shld b ok i guess

mentor din say anithing.. think she gave up hope on mi oso.. keep eating snake.. n pig n my fren both have the knack of msn-ing mi when my mentor lean over to look at my screen.. -_______-.. even though i specifically put "dun msg mi" in my msn n yet they still msg.. nt earlier nt later but juz nice when my mentor lean over.. -__________-.. den the msg kept blinking so conspiciously

went home without saying byebye to everybody.. haa.. more like hush-hush thing.. oni said bb to the colleague n my mentor n the receptionist cos they r the more closer ones..

wed can slack liao! long hols! called the agent to c if can sign contract on wed or not but he on leave again! -_____-.. now hope everything go smoothly on fri
