tdy is a bad day.. started off the day by losing one of my earring.. -__-.. bad omen

den during the wkly conf call, this overseas woman (juz call her POC - Piece Of Crap) tried to shoot me.. last wk i asked her for some advice n she took 2 DAYS to reply my email.. den she arrowed another poor fellow to reply my email oso.. this poor fellow took another day to get back n said hes nt sure whether this works or not so he asked POC.. i waited for her reply but there was none.. so i replied them tdy saying the poor fellow's suggestion doesnt work n asked if there are ani other alternatives.. den this POC was saying during the conf call tat she noes its not the correct suggestion but the poor fellow oredi said hes not sure n he was confirming wif her.. seems like shes trying to say i shldnt have replied saying tat the poor fellow is wrong.. i was burning inside (mayb cos the aircon in the meeting room was shut down oso.. the niao co trying to cut costs) n so i shot back.. "i was waiting for ur reply so in the meantime i juz tout i try out his suggestion".. den she juz said ok. idiot.. after which she say she will arrow another person n get back to me.. i shot back again saying this work is due in 2 days time.. den she say ok she will try to get back to me by tdy.. this kind of ppl oni noe how to push ppl when they themselves r the ones dragging down the progress.. later take their own sweet time to reply n i will get chased by other POCs for the work nt being done in time..

my team lead say the POCs requested for wkend support so we have to work on wkends oso.. nt sure if its on rotation basis or on stand-by basis.. nt sure if its oni for a few wks or for a few mths oso.. -__-.. if im scheduled for this wkend i sure request to swap.. cos this sat is NDP PREVIEW.. i dun want to b in the midst of watching the ndp n have some bugger calling me back for support.. i will hang up the phone saying "ndp is once a yr oni n u want me to go back n work?! pui!".. n den mon i will kena warning letter.. haha

my manager said shes pushing for my conversion to perm n actually my name is in the queue for sometime oredi.. but while she can help me to push for it, i have to do my part oso by being more visible to the other team leads.. -__-.. how?? dun even have things to toke to them den suddenly go pilly-pally wif them juz to b more visible? the "harsh" reality of life is tat u have to "scheme" to get wat u want.. she asked my colleagues to help by "promoting" me more to the team leads oso.. -__-.. since so mani ppl going overseas n buying tidbits back, i think the easiest n fastest way to b more visible is to go to their cubes when they r around n eat up all their tidbits.. when they turn around n look den i will give them a sheepish smile n say "hi, i am so-and-so.. i am here to eat up all ur snacks".. the most it takes is one wk b4 everybody noes who i am n how yao gui i am.. be in the limelight for the wrong reason but at least visibility is high

the slightly "gratifying" thing is tat she says it doesnt mean being in her team implies auto conversion.. if performance is nt gd she wont convert oso.. no pt die die convert.. for me she has no issues wif my performance.. i think it means my work is nt exactly tat gd.. but so far i have no major mistakes n no bad behaviour watsoever.. means mai hiam buai pai type.. the only issue she has wif me is tat i shld speak up more.. -__-.. i dun think all the perms mingle a lot among themselves oso..
