went to my fren's new house for housewarming party.. but oni show face for like 2 hrs den left liao cos my fren got something on.. seems quite "extra" going for the party since it was a mini class gathering n oni the usual group of ppl were invited.. mi n my fren were not part of the group so its quite awkward.. more like trying to make small toke there.. getting asked by them abt wat im working, where im working, how i find the job etc..

one of them working as a software engr asked me y i chose software engr cos he found the job quite monotonous.. i duno if its oni mi who thinks the job is ok? seems like the rest all think its boring.. mayb the nature of the job is similar to my nature.. haa. or mayb cos i can still afford to slack every now n den.. even my colleagues oso complain tat the work we r doing now dun offer much learning opportunities.. i think im nt tat career-minded.. no learning opportunities? as long as money is ok n work nt tat tedious den everything ok.. v short-sighted like my eyes

another fren asked me this morn if i have a lot of close frens.. definitely v few.. but frens dun need to have a lot.. as long as can click n when u feel like toking theres always someone to toke to den its ok.. quality matters more than quantity.. as we grow older n older frens start to disappear.. the remaining ones r the ones who can withstand the passing of time n get better n closer wif time
