帮倒忙

this morn the pm spent a long time going through my v short status report b4 coming to the main pt

pm: ok my intention of checking ur status is actually to ask u help X fix her bugs. for ur portion can the new guy help u out with ur work or not?
me: like tat den if he duno end up he still ask me, so i still have to spend time to look at it. so might as well i do faster
pm: i noe u r the main developer so u do things will b faster. but now is a gd time for the new guy to pick up on ur module
me: *roll eyes* ya of cos if u want to let the new guy learn new things den is gd lah. but if u toking abt helping me reduce workload den it's not much help
pm: *repeat point above*
me: *yalah yalah.. cant b bothered to reply*
pm: cos the bug fix quite urgent, so u may be expected to come back on wkend once or twice if cannot finish
me: *tmd*

tats the prob wif pm. they think they r helping u n managing the proj, but in reality they r juz doubling everybody's workload with their so-called "help". by "helping", he has increased mine n X's workload, cos i need to teach new guy, n X need to teach me. n since when got ppl OT or go back on wkends just to do other ppl's stuffs? crazy. this is their so-called work-life balance.

n i'm realli starting to loathe the new guy. this morning i was sitting near my pc with internet n listening to music with earphones. he din even bother to ask to use the pc, n juz stood beside me to use it, as if i have to automatically give way to him. for goodness sake it's my pc, n yet he behaved as if he has the right to use it n i have to lend it to him to use.

colleague to me: u will teach him how to do rite?
me: ok
new guy to me: so end up the arrow is back to u
me: *can u pls shut up*
