ndp preview 2006

went ndp preview yest! red ppl everywhere.. v crowded n stuffy.. this yr is the last yr where the ndp is held at kallang.. sigh

reached late cos of tat pig n could not find any seats.. those ppl took up quite a lot of space by putting their bags on the benches.. -__-.. after the ppl ask them to shift in den finally freed up more sitting space.. there was the usual stuffs.. band performance.. kallang wave.. some warming up by playing some games.. but most typical singaporeans (esp aunties) prefer to settle their stomachs first n eat first.. bochup gurmit singh.. haa. i also conc on eating my bread instead of playing the games.. hehe

forgot wat happened nxt.. think the parachutists came down one by one.. they look so cute from above.. the later ones got color sprays on their legs

den the usual march in.. the nsmen did a 2006 formation.. looks v nice.. but the contingent size shrinking each yr.. this yr motorola joined in the ndp oso.. looks cute from far oso.. haa

den sing national anthem.. helicopters bearing the sgp flag fly past! every yr oso the same but somehow everybody behave like they r seeing it for the first time.. including me.. haa. nvr stand at attention during national anthem.. juz keep clicking their cameras away

den got the planes fly past.. they bluff ppl one! wat fly v slow so ppl got time to take pictures.. liar! by the time i take the planes oredi fly quite far away liao.. -__-.. got one pic even got no plane inside.. juz empty sky cos they zoomed past too fast.. haha. the 5 planes spreading out oso too fast.. behind us somemore.. cant realli c the fan shape

after tat was the dance segments.. din realli catch wat was this yr's theme.. got rifle display oso where they swirl their rifles round n round.. v nice..

if u look carefully at the left can c the guy dropped his rifle.. haa

somehow this yr's dance segment nt as good as last yr's.. at least last yr got giant floats.. this yr like nothing much? but gong sijia's singing was gd.. weilian sang one of the songs for ndp oso.. i think i was too busy taking pics so din realli notice the performances.. haa. lumix camera is realli nt gd for taking nite pics.. all become blurry or dark.. so i juz took videos all the way.. esp gd for capturing fireworks!

wah the fireworks v nice.. boom boom boom for quite long.. din notice a lot of ppl carrying umbrellas over their heads.. haa. too engrossed taking video.. seems like most of the time we sitting at the area where the fireworks is behind us.. a bit diff to c.. but v close up..

after tat haven even finish den ppl start to leave liao.. kiasu sgporeans.. but later they made the rite choice.. cos its human jam at the exits.. haa. we demonstrated our love for our country fellows by sharing our sweat wif each other n bumping into each other's butts frequently so tat we will get moving.. gd work singaporeans! haa
